Escaven is a unique startup hotel chain in Northern Pakistan, designed to offer an immersive stay with thoughtfully themed spaces. Rooted in nature, culture, and folklore, its first location in Muzaffarabad, Kashmir, embraces a poetic identity—each room carries a name rich in local heritage, like Gulrez, Shaam-e-Kashmir, Mahru, Roshnav, Parizad, and Sahar, evoking stories and traditions of the region.
At Doodlebug Studios, we developed the overarching theme of the hotel, curating room names that reflect the charm and mystique of local folklore. Beyond branding, we also designed their print materials and merchandise, and contributed to the interior themes to create a seamless, culturally immersive experience. With a focus on family-friendly stays and a growing presence on Airbnb, Escaven is redefining boutique hospitality in Pakistan—one story-filled stay at a time.
